Oyster farm in Zeeland

This tour is for real gourmets and of marine products connoisseurs. We are going to visit the Dutch village Yerseke, that is famous for its oysters!

Yerseke is a small fishing village in the Netherlands, province Zeeland, where you can learn a lot about the art of breeding oysters, mussels and lobsters.

You will visit the family farm for growing oysters, that has been here since 1906.

Our route begins with a sea tour along the bay, where the oysters and mussels plantations are located. You will learn about the processes of breeding and growing clams, and you’ll be shownhow the catching is done in practice.

Then you will visit the farm itself, get acquainted with its structure and observe the processes, necessary for the sea delicacies to reach the gourmets’ tables.

And in conclusion, naturally, the most pleasant thing – the degustation! Having awaking your appetite with a sea walk, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the unforgettable taste of oysters, mussels and lobsters. You have a chance to try triangular flat yarns that are only grown here, as well as Japanese and Irish oysters, and several other mollusks.

We organize both individual programs and group tours. You can order a separate tour to the oyster farm or a full day program including a sea walk, a visit to the farm, and seafood lunch or dinner. It is also available to organize a business meeting or negotiations.
