Can it be so that just one painting caused a decision to build a huge museum that has become a state museum? How did it happen that historians were mistaken in the date of birth of their greatest artistic genius?

All these and many other questions will be answered by tour guide during this excursion.

Amsterdam is forever associated with the name of the great painter- Rembrandt. Amsterdam is inseparable from his work, just as St. Petersburg is inseparable from Dostoevsky’s novels. Such masterpieces as “Temptation of Abraham”, “Danae”, “With Saskia on his knees”, “Abduction of Ganymede”, “Night Watch”, “Jewish Bride”, “Return of the Prodigal Son” were all drawn here.

We will pay a visit to the places in Amsterdam where Rembrandt used to live, where his students and customers lived, where his talent as a painter was revealed, where the people who were close to himand the artist himself were buried.
