Veluwe Mehari Tour

Mehari is a mini jeep with the legendary Citroen 2CV’s chassis. A light and laughable vehicle from the hippi era. Although, in addition to beach parties, Mehari managed to take part in rallies and even serve in the army for a while.

Get behind the wheel in this legendary vehicle and feel like a French military, or Brigitte Bardot.

Follow the route on your map and discover the national park De HogeVeluwe, one of the most beautiful and ancient  national park in Holland!

The park was founded by spouses Anton Kroller and Helene Muller, who owned the land that was used for hunting. In the center of the park is the Kroller-Muller art museum, where the worldwide famous private collection of Helene Kroller-Muller is exposed. The museum has 278 works of Van Gogh, as well as paintings by Pablo Picasso, Fernand Leger, Piet Mondriaan and many others. Next to the museum is the sculptural garden, also featuring works of many worldwide known artists.

Hoge-Veluwe shelters a lot of endangered animal and plant species, so here you can come across a red deer, a mouflon, or a roe. Visiting the old pumping station (dated 1863) is optional; the overseer will tell you about its mechanisms and demonstrate a year 1882 steam engine.

Driving license is required
