Kruisheren – a former XV century monastery located in the very heart of Maastricht.
Along with the adjoined monumental gothic church, the monastery was reformed into a hotel, which combines medieval architecture and impressive interior design.
The hotel includes 60 comfortable rooms. Each of them has its own unique atmosphere and is decorated with pieces of art. Each room has a poem composed about it. The beds are manufactured by HenkVos and the “Auping” company.
The restaurant is located in the mezzanine, the central hall of the hotel. This is where the church choir once was.
The “Rouge & Blanc” wine bar offers a vast choice of wine from its large collection stored in the wine cellar. Here you can also have a coffee with Limburgishvlaai.
The Old City of Maastricht is 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Vrijthof square is just 500 meters away from the place.
