Wouldn’t any traveler love it to find himself ina fable?Walk the quiet green hills of a hobbit village, the illustrious Shire? Any Tolkien reader knows that the quiet and cozy hobbit village filled with small underground shacks is where the heroes’ adventures begin.

“Lord of The Rings” fans don’t necessarily have to go to New Zealand to enjoy the marvelous views of Middle Earth, now they can just visit an unusual hotel in the Northern Netherlands.

This unique hotel is located in a camping in De Kennemerduinen national park on the coast of the North Sea. The national park is famous for its spectacular landscape and its unique flora and fauna.

The shacks have round windows, half-round roofs covered with grass and flowers, and round doorways leading into the fabled lodging. Each lodging has room for two adults and two children: there’s a large comfortable double bed for the parents, and a two-tiered inbuilt bed for the kids.

The lodging has a bathroom and a small kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking, plus free Wi-Fi and floor heating. The hotel is 25 minutes’ drive away from Amsterdam.
